Permanent Makeup

Micro-pigmentation, also known as permanent makeup, is a procedure applying pigment into the dermal layer of skin. This state of the art procedure has been performed for a variety of makeup enhancements for hundreds of years. Cosmetic tattooing can offer subtle enhancements to lip liner and lip color, upper and lower eyeliners and eyebrows.

In more recent years, permanent color techniques are being widely performed for camouflage therapy such as creating pigmentation for areola and nipple restoration, vitiligo, hyp-pigmentation and hairline scars.

Aside from the obvious esthetic enhancements and definition, cosmetic tattooing has many other benefits. The visually impaired, handicapped and those who have alopecia benefit tremendously from this service.

We use sterilized, disposable needles to implant the desired colour into the dermis layer of the skin. A highly effective topical anesthetic are applied to numb the area and provide comfort to ensure a perfect procedure. Depending on which anesthetic is used, generally there is minimal discomfort.

Generally, a touch up appointment is needed 3 to 8 weeks following the initial appointment. This second appointment will perfect and detail the final look. As the years pass, re-enhancements or maintenance may be desired for some people.
